Francisco Vio is an agronomist, consultant, and owner-operator of Huerto Cuatro Estaciones(School Farm Program), a high-efficiency organic market garden located in the challenging climate of Chilean Patagonia. With 13 years of organic farming experience and seven seasons operating in extreme sub-polar conditions, Francisco specializes in farm design and establishing market gardens from scratch. Having traveled extensively across North America, South America, and Europe studying diverse farming systems, Francisco helps new and expanding growers design highly productive farm layouts tailored to their local geography.
